The car looks great for the showroom, but I have a few issues that I hope will be fixed in the coming updates. One is the car just simply out-performs the actual thing. I was consistently putting in laps 3 seconds faster at Road America than the pole qualifier. I’m not sure if that’s due to too much aero (there seems to be much more than the real thing) or it’s too powerful, or a combination of both. Second, the suspension likes to twitch during racing… a lot. There’s no smooth animation. Also, the wheels don’t turn when you input steering while driving. They continue to point directly forwards while the car seems to magically pivot. It can be quite distracting as with open-wheelers, you focus on the front tire’s behavior a lot to get visual cues of understeer and lockups. Otherwise, this mod is a home run. The liveries are amazing and the sounds are also done very well. As one of the very few Indycar mods for Assetto Corsa, I’m inclined to say this one, given that it’s free, maybe the best I’ve stumbled across, but it still has some issues that need to be smoothed out.
